Has anyone used the Italian wood rims on their safeties? Do they look authentic? Thanks Dave

They look good to me, and they are available in 700c X 36mm clinchers-

Theirs are narrower at 30mm. They also sell rims on eBay- search for CBITA. Narrow tubular rims are 108.00/pair + $33.00 shipping.

I haven't bought any, but add some pinstriping and I think they would look nice. Logos are a little garish, but would be easy to tone down.

Last summer I met a guy who is a rep for cycling clothing manufacturers. He reps a lot of European clothing so he spends a lot of time over there. He gave me this companies name when I was looking for a replacement wheel for my safety. He had been to the factory to pick up a pair for himself and said they are beautifully made. He told me they were awesome wheels to ride on. That is all I can offer as I never ordered a set for myself. Dana

I bought a set of Ghisallo wheels for a 1936 Schwinn Admiral Track bike. They look pretty nice to me.
